How to Nominate for the Bendigo Bank Gippsland Business Awards
You can access a nomination form by:

- Collecting one from any Bendigo Bank across Gippsland
- Collecting one from any Shire Office after 16 March 2008
- Using the copy posted to you in March
Entries
Once your nomination form has been processed we will send you an entry
form via postal mail. You must complete this form and send to us before
the 06 June 2008.

Eligibility Criteria
To the best of my knowledge, my business or the business I am nominating
meets ALL the following eligibility criteria:
- It resides in Gippsland AND will comply with any of the categories
listed.
- It is a sole trader, partnership or Pty. Ltd. company that has
a base in Gippsland and employs people who live in Gippsland.
- It is NOT a club, co-operative or non-profit organisation.
- It is NOT a government-funded business or a government agency.
Entities that are the responsibility of and/or funded by other agencies
and/or that currently receive significant financial support from other
funding, (For example: Local, State or Federal Government, Philanthropic
Organisations) are not eligible to nominate.
- Entrants can nominate for more than one category, but must submit
a separate entry form for each category.
The Bendigo Bank Gippsland Business Awards are open to:
Sole traders; partnerships; Pty Ltd or listed public company’s; that
have a base in Gippsland and employ people who live in Gippsland.
- Employees and immediate family of the Award organizers, Bendigo Bank
or any sponsors associated with the Awards are not eligible to enter.
- Hall of Fame Award recipients are not eligible to nominate.
- Entrants can nominate for more than one category, but must supply
a separate nomination form for each category – this includes answering
the general and category questions.
- Entities that are the responsibility of and/or funded by other agencies
or projects and/or that currently receive significant financial support
from other funding bodies (eg. Local, State or Federal Government,
Philanthropic Organisations or Trusts) are not eligible to nominate.
Judging
- An anonymous judging panel (10 members) is appointed by the Awards
Committee from government, sponsors, organizing committee and independent
business specialists.
- Personal contact and/or referee contact may take place to clarify
certain points judges wish to query. Entrants required for this will
be notified by phone.
- Each nomination is assessed separately by two judges, who then
refer their results back to the panel.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered
into.
- All finalists are assessed by the entire judging panel to determine
category winners.
