Will I be notified of the results at the completion of Stage 1 of judging ?
The Gippsland Business Awards Committee of Management will only inform those businesses that have been selected as finalists in Stage Two of the judging process. These businesses are contacted by mail and the finalist list is loaded onto the Gippsland Business Awards website once they have been notified.    

Who has access to my entry ?
Throughout the judging process the information contained in your submission will only be accessible to the Gippsland Business Awards Committee and the award judges.

To protect your privacy throughout the judging process we will not provide any information whatsoever about your entry to anyone other than the 'Entry Contact' as specified on the official entry. The entry contact must be a company officer or authorised employee of the organisation entering the Awards.

How are entries treated in terms of disclosure ?
We do not publish the names of businesses, organisations or their products that have not been selected as a category finalist, nor will we reproduce any information from their entry. Therefore if you enter the awards, but are not successful, this will remain confidential.

In addition, entrants may mark any commercially sensitive information contained in their entry as ‘not for publication’. The organisers reserve the right to use information contained in the winning entries (apart from contact details and any content marked not for publication) for subsequent publicity, promotions and other activities relating to the awards program. 

What happens to the entries at the conclusion of the Awards ?
At the conclusion of the Gippsland Business Awards program all copies of submissions and supporting documents will be securely destroyed. For this reason, please ensure that you keep a copy of your submission for your own records and do not send in the original of any supporting documents.

Can I use the finalist/winners logo in my marketing material ?
Yes, once you have been the recipient of either a Category Finalist or Winner certificate you can use the Gippsland Business Awards logo on your marketing material. Please speak with a member of the Committee of Management for access to the appropriate information.
